Tsui Choi winced. Natural. It was probably his fault that Masarai's cover had been blown. But regardless, they needed to get out. He quickly sealed the landing doors, and reached out in the Force, through the void that was the Yuuzhan Vong, and to the beacon of light.

Fel.

---------

Fel'rol'oglor heard the ship vibrating to create a semblance of speech, announcing... that Fel had killed a Shaper?! They needed to get out fast. Then, the Felucian Jedi recieved the Force message that Tsui was on the ship, and they needed to go. Masarai was on his way, too. The blue Jedi leapt up, and yanked his lightsaber off of his waist. The little Aleena might be able to sneak, but when you're seven feet tall and glow blue, stealth is a little hard.

He manually cut his way through the muscle-like door, and butchered the two Yuuzhan Vong that appeared seconds afterward. Fel half-jogged through the corridors, swinging his lightsaber in mighty strokes, cutting swathes through the Yuuzhan Vong that carried a weapon of any sort. The Jedi was a juggernaut, plowing his enemies under.

After several minutes, he came across a Shaper's lab, and stopped... Something was amiss. He stopped, and turned to look through the strangely blackened, muscle-like entrance.

Inside, the black-scaled serpent hissed, and uncoiled from a Shaper's corpse. It was the force-sensitive creature they had bioengineered.. looked like it got out. The black snake slithered over to Fel, and looked at him with golden, emotionless eyes. It could kill Fel with it's two inch-long, poisoned fangs, or the blades on its tail, but it didn't... It sensed that its only escape lay with the other Force-sensitive and his allies. Fel continued on, although the six foot-long serpent followed him, gliding like a shadow across the fleshy floor.

Finally, he burst into the hangar of the battleship, and encountered six guards. Two were next to him, and Fel'rol'oglor easily impaled one, and beheaded the other with his cobalt lightsaber. Three others rushed at him, while on remained by his ship, attempting to destroy the engines...

It was that one that keeled over, his body a dark blue, with the large snake firmly holding the alien's leg in its maw. That was some powerful poison! Fel began his assault, parrying blows from the Amphistaffs, and lashing out with his powerful legs. One Yuuzhan Vong fell down, his Voduun Crab armor shattered around the ribs due to a physical blow. Another reeled backward, clutching the air as Fel yanked his blade from its chest. Finally, he turned to the last one.

This Yuuzhan Vong wasn't your average one... He seemed to be clad in a different form of armor. Its coloration and placement were different, appearing slightly more gaudy and flashy than your average Yuuzhan Vong. This one ranked highly.

The Jedi lashed out with his lightsaber, entering into a Felucian Battle Fury- not very Jedi-like, but very useful. He hacked and slashed with his lightsaber until the amphistaff sailed off the alien's arm, accompanied by his right hand. The Yuuzhan Vong gasped, and fell to his knees.

Fel glared at him for several seconds, then sighed. He deactivated his lightsaber, and as he turned away, he saw a flash of black scales, and a look of terror. Out of the corner of his eye, Fel saw a spurt of blood as the serpent bit the high-ranking Yuuzhan Vong's neck. He walked towards the ship, opening the hatch via a hidden panel that required a password. It opened, but no noise came from inside.

"Tsui?" Fel asked cautiously into the unlit ship. He walked in, and activated his lightsaber. He left the door open, and the serpent slithered in behind him, almost fearfully. The blue light from the blade shone throughout the corridor, illuminating it. The alien Jedi slowly walked to the cockpit module, and opened it quickly.

A Yuuzhan Vong in night-black Voduun Crab Armor spun around, Yorik coral-claws shining a dull, glossy black. It hissed in fury, and Fel instantly plunged his blade into the alien's chest. As the Felucian yanked the blade from the twitching corpse, he looked down at the floor. Laying there, in an almost serene position, lay the body of Tsui Moroi.

Fel kneeled down, and closed the dead Aleena's eyelids over the distinctive white eyes. He sighed, and a single clear tear slid from his eye as he noticed the three puncture wounds in the fragile blue Jedi's chest.

Jedi Knight Tsui Moroi lay crumpled on the floor, slaughtered by the Yuuzhan Vong.

Masarai continued his sprint through the halls of the worldship, making his way to the landing bay which contained Fels ship. He had met little resistance so far, since few of the tens of thousands of beings on the ship actually knew him by name, but he expected there to be a large group of warriors, in the landing bay, or waiting for him outside of it.

He dropped down a level, not even using the handholds carved into the walls, and landed square in the middle of a group of warriors. The warrior he landed on, didn’t have time to get back onto his feet, before Masarai ripped his throat out with his radank claw. Black blood spurted up, covering Masarais face, and chest, making his Glowing red Mqaaq'it eyes stand out even more.

He snarled, and whipped his amphistaff loose from around his forearm, and with a flick of his wrist, slit the throat of the squad leader, as he started to yell out a challenge. He let the staff go into its soft whip like state, and spun out of the way of an incoming amphistaff strike, all the while using his own staff to ensnare the legs of another warrior. He pulled, and the warrior flew off of his feet. Masarai used the opening to dive further down the corridor, still making his way toward Fels ship, even as he fought.

The warriors voiced catcalls, deriding him for being a coward, and a blasphemer. He made an obscene gesture over his shoulder, and continued down the corridor at a run. Down another level, and he would be on the same floor as the hanger. He hit another ladderway, and looked down. Clear. He jumped down into a hail of thud bugs. Their razor sharp carapaces shattering against his vonduun crab armor. He ran forward, dodging bugs and amphistaffs, and grabbed the first warrior in the line by the head with his radank claw. He held him off of the floor, and squeezed. The headless body dropped to the floor, and Masarai once again resorted to his amphistaff, and coufee. In seconds, the hallway was awash in blood. Masarai grinned as the last body hit the floor.

Two hundred more meters, and he was in the hanger. Surprisingly there was no one in it, at least not alive. Fel had indeed moved quickly. He boarded the ship, yelling for Fel to take off all the while. He walked onto the bridge, and was shocked to see the body of Tsui, laying limply on the floor.

He quickly moved to sit in the copilots chair, and looked at Fel. “I apologize for the loss of your friend. It was not my intention for any of you to perish.” He paused before continuing “But his death will be in vain if we do not leave this hanger. We must rendezvous with my ship, and then we can go our separate ways. ”

Fel slowly stood up, and spoke. "You are correct, Masarai Shai. Let us leave this place." The blue Jedi glowed in the dim lighting, and he unconsciously turned the lights up out of habit. Seconds later, the starship's entrance sealed, and the recently arrived Yuuzhan Vong banged on the hatch, attempting entry, but failing. The Felucian pressed multiple buttons, adjusted holoreadings, and yanked levers.

Within forty seconds, the silver-hulled ship glowed with a blueish tint as the shields activated, repelling the Yuuzhan Vong outside, and it was levitating. The landing gear retracted, and the starship's engines hummed and glowed firing the ship out of the hangar before the entrance could close... However, Fel made sure to use the blaster cannons to slag the protrusion that kept the film that resisted the void taut. All Yuuzhan Vong inhabiting the hangar were accordingly suck into space.

As the starship curved its trajectory and made a course for Masarai's monstrous, living battleship, the hulking Jedi stood up from the pilot seat, and stooped over, picking up the tiny corpse.

"I will move his body to a more... dignified place," he murmured, exiting the cockpit module, and carrying Tsui Moroi's body out.

Masarai watched as Fel carried his dead friend out of the cockpit area. After Fel had exited the room, he pulled a villip out of a waist pouch, and storked it until it inverted to reveal the face of his second in command aboard the Will of the Gods. Masarai quickly barked out orders to his second. In minutes every soldier on the Will of the Gods that wasnt 100 percent loyal to Masarai Shai, would be dead. When they arrived, the ship would be cleaned of all who would have opposed thier near treacherous attempt to redeem themselves.

Masarai nodded as his man on the ship imformed him that it had begun, and released his hold on the Villip. Everyone onboard knew that once the order was given, the ship was to be prepared to leave the system, and that they would most likely be doing so under fire. He had chosen this crew for that very reason. When they arrived, they could instantly leave the system, to any destination that Masarai chose. He sat patiently in his chair, and waited for Fel to return from interring his friend. His thoughts had not been this pleasant in many months.

The blue Jedi strode back in, his face set in determination. It wasn't every day that you lost a friend you had known half your life... and for that, Fel was profoundly glad. The hulking Felucian sat in the large pilot's chair, manually steering the starship towards a specially crafted hangar, the only entrance even temporarily opened to the void. When the metal craft entered, a film shot across the gap, sealing it from space. Then, a more fleshy layer, strong enough to support the massive metal object oozed down, and sealed. A double-lock system. Fel's starship settled down on the thick, fleshy floor.

"Alright, here we are," Fel began. "Ready to go?" he asked, standing up, and walking towards the cockpit door again. "The other Yuuzhan Vong will have amassed enough forces to attack by now. We should help get this thing into Hyperspace as fast as possible."

Masarai followed Fel out of the cockpit, and down the ramp. He knew from previous tours of the ship the quickest way to the bridge, and he led Fel on a twisting journey up ladderways, and down corridors, for over a minute.

When they arrived on the bridge, Masarai quickly ordered the Helmsman to take the ship into Hyperspace. The stars around the ship flickered briefly, and then winked out, as the ship tore a hole in the universe, and slid between the cracks into hyperspace.

Masarai looked at Fel. "That was remarkably easy. It is possible that they may follow us, but highly unlikely. Is there any where in particular you want to go, once we emerge from hyperspace?"

The seven-foot tall Felucian followed the smaller Yuuzhan Vong through the twisting and turning corridors and coral ladders. He didn't like the hard, rocky feel of the ladders, however, and used his suction-tipped primary arms, and his sticky feet to scramble up the walls.

In the short time period of several minutes, the duo arrived on the bridge with minimal interation with the crew. Masarai had gone into conversation with the Helmsman of the Will of the Gods, and this left Fel to gaze out of the large, window. Even the windows were biological- they were a diamond-clear- and diamond-hard- film that was obviously organic, but was yet almost identical to Transparisteel.

Eventually, the alien warrior walked back to the Felucian Jedi, and asked him where he would prefer to go. "Felucia," he replied, after spending a moment in thought.

Masarai nodded, and went over to talk to the Helmsman. He finished explaining the destination, and walked back to Fel.

"It looks like our partnership is coming to an end. I have learned much from you Jedaii. Again, I apologize for the death of your friend, may he rest in the halls of Yun-Yuuzhan." Masarai paused, and pulled a pouch off of his belt.

"I want you to have this" He said as he handed the pouch to Fel "It is a villip, that will allow you to communicate directly with me. You simply have to rub it to awaken the creature, and it will also awaken mine, no matter where I am. Do not hesitate to use it if you are in trouble, and I will come to your aid."
